We are now accepting nominations for the Village of Gurnee Teacher of the Year program! Based on your nominations, we will select a winner from each school, and an overall district winner. Recognition and celebration for the winners will take place later this spring, but the deadline for submissions is Jan. 29.

The Annual Holiday Food Drive was a HUGE success!
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, brought in non-perishable food, contributed with a financial donation, or supported the food drive in some other way over the past few weeks. With your generosity, we were able to support 82 Woodland families with extra food, warmth, and resources to help them through the holidays and winter break. There were multiple food drive competitions and fundraising events across the district, and the result was a pop-up food pantry for families to shop for their needs in a warm and welcoming environment. There are many different reasons why someone may need additional support this time of year, and you helped lift up your friends and neighbors with your contributions. Here are a few photos of our AMAZING volunteers, including student volunteers from both Woodland and Warren Township High School, setting up for the event. #LifeintheW
