The Woodland Technology Team is made up of dedicated employees who are always working behind the scenes to make sure our staff has the technology they need to support our students, and that our students have the technology they need to be successful learners. It takes a special set of skills to be an IT professional, and we appreciate their hard work to make sure our network is safe, secure, and running at optimal levels. We kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month in the Elementary Library today! These second grade dual language students are excited about all the books we have that portray, affirm, and celebrate the Hispanic cultural experience.

Board of Education President Anna Chang-Yen, and Board Member Brianna Powvens, recently attended the Rotary Club of Gurnee. They were invited to give a presentation about the Roles & Responsibilities of a school board/school board members. They also shared information about why they decided to serve the community in this role, provided updates about the school district and Woodland's new Five-Year Strategic Plan, and explained what it means to be part of #LifeintheW. We appreciate these Community Partnerships!

Honoring those who lost their lives and the heroes who responded by teaching this history to our students who weren't born yet.
