Board of Education members take the Oath of Office, May 2023
The Woodland D50 Board of Education held a special reorganization meeting on May 10, 2023, for newly elected and re-elected Board Members to take the Oath of Office. This meeting also provided an opportunity to recognize two Board of Education Members who have completed their term and did not seek re-election.
The Board welcomes two new members, Mrs. Amy Sabor and Ms. Gari Matsey, who were elected to the Board in April. Mrs. Brianna Powvens was also sworn in after being re-elected to the Board to serve another term. Dr. Carla Little, Mrs. Renea Amen, Mr. Corey Holmer, and Mrs. Anna Chang-Yen were not up for re-election this year and their service to our learning community continues.
At the meeting, the Board of Education also selected new officers to leadership positions, and started the committee selection process.
