Champions at Woodland!
Champions offers flexible, affordable care for your family throughout the school year, and they are conveniently located on Woodland School Campuses. They also provide coverage during winter breaks, spring breaks, summer and more. New this year - Champions worked with district leaders to offer flexible childcare coverage on Early Dismissal Fridays.

Woodland Primary:

• Early Learning Center/Daycare: Champions provides care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. The hours of operation are from 6:30am-6pm. The Early Learning Center is a NAEYC accredited center.

• Transitional Kindergarten: Champions provides an enriching wrap-around service for our kindergarten friends who need extended care. During this program, children will focus on developing their social-emotional skills through purposeful play. In addition, opportunities for creative arts, gross & fine motor development, oral literacy, cognitive & executive function are all embedded into the curriculum.

Woodland Elementary & Intermediate:

• Before & Aftercare: For students needing before & aftercare, Champions provides a developmentally, playful and enriching curriculum from 6:30am through 6pm. Children in grades 1-3 will remain in the elementary building, while children in grades 4-6 will remain in the intermediate building.

Gurnee Park District
District 50 C.A.R.E. at Hunt Club Park Community Center

The Gurnee Park District offers quality after school care for children K-8th grades. The program is relaxed and recreational-based to counter-balance the day's educational activities. Children enjoy activities, games, and outdoor play, as well as a variety of arts and crafts before and after school. Visit the Gurnee Park District website.
