About Us

The Business Office manages Woodland’s financial and accounting responsibilities. The department also oversees operations and facilities management, student transportation, districtwide technology and the food service program.

Mr. Bobek has been working in the educational field since 2010. A graduate of Indiana University, Mr. Bobek began his career in the private sector. After attaining an MBA in finance from DePaul University, Mr. Bobek continued his education receiving a Chief School Business Official endorsement from the Illinois Association of School Business Official affiliate Northern Illinois University. Upon receipt of his endorsement, he began his career as a school Finance Coordinator in Grayslake before becoming Chief School Business Official and then Assistant Superintendent. Mr. Bobek was welcomed to Woodland CCSD 50 as the Associate Superintendent of Business Services in 2018.
